We celebrated the Jewish new year with our friends, the Buksbazens, today! We made our own shofars and blew them, had hallah bread and grape juice, said the prayers and ate apples and honey! It was great and I'm really feeling the spiritual significance with the unsettled place our country seems to be in. So, we all went out and blew our trumpets!
