we had a blast hiking saturday. the weather was perfect and we finally got to use that wonderful baby back pack. the kids had so much fun. we learned how to skip rocks in the lake and we located birch trees, split rocks and lots of tracks in the mud. a couple of updates: eli woke up to nurse in the middle of the night and i found him standing (yes, standing) in his crib! time to raise the side, ahh! jonah has had the "heeves" this weekend too, he decided to christen the new van with everything in his tummy, yuck! poor daddy, that's all i need to say about that. it's monday now, so we are expecting lots of good health, productive school hours and more smiles than whines! (do i sound optimistic enough?) heehee! and a blessed week to all of you too!

Oh, man, I hate that about the van. I love how you put that, too, about "poor Daddy, that's all I need to say about that." You guys are such a neat family...
