Time has passed too fast!

Our internet service was down for about a week and a half and we struggled through until we finally got some assistance in getting it back up... thanks Time Warner! Let's see, two sundays ago (Sept. 24), Josiah was baptized! We had a church picnic and they were baptizing people in an outside pool. We brought him over to watch and he immediately said, "I want to get baptized." So, we let him! It doesn't get much more genuine than that!

Jonah is still keeping us in stitches with is army man antics. He loves to dress up like a soldier and give us his best soldier face. He's so serious about it. Both of the boys are learning to be better helpers with the house work. They keep insisting that they can't do the work unless i'm with them though... i'm sure that makes it more fun so i'm trying not to multi task too much! They learned from their cousins over the weekend how to share the chores by drawing sticks and you are assigned what you draw for the week. So they can hardly wait to have their own chore sticks. Until then, they have to do what i tell them, which doesn't seem to always work.

Titus is giving me a run for my money! Yesterday, he went into the bathroom, climbed up into the sink and turned on the water. I heard him calling me but didn't get up right away, then i heard him start to whine a little. I walked into the bathroom and saw that he was sitting in a sink full of water and the floor was standing with about an inch or two of water. I'm just thankful it wasn't hot water! Every time i turn around this child is into something! According to my friend, Jenn, who's a valuable source, he is going to be a smart little guy because he is so inquisitive! If he's not writing on the walls, he's pulling all the tape off the dispenser or getting out the bag of pintos to play with. Many times throughout the day, i will find him climbing up the pantry shelves to reach the chips that i tried to put out of his reach.

He is a funny guy though! He is talking a lot more and one that i love is when he says "nose nose", which means he wants to rub his nose to my nose. How can you resist that!

Avery seems to be following in Titus's footsteps. I caught her on the second step three times today, going after a Target bag (she loves the sound it makes when she shakes it). Callie wasn't a climber when she was that age. Avery sure seems to be. Maybe we should get Avery and Titus together and they can climb together :)
