When you are three and four years old, birthdays take forever to come! Poor kid, when June finally got here, he then had to wait 13 days for his special day. But, he learned valuable lessons in patience and we all made it to the 13th! Big E is four now and has had quite the celebration! We started out Saturday with his party! Bumblebee the transformer was the inspiration for this gig and we had some slip n slide fun and water balloon battles with the 17+ kids running aro
und. Then, this morning, we started out with his gifts, then headed to the kitchen for his favorite cereal (that he only gets on his birthday), Lucky Charms. Somewhere around 10:30, there was a birthday breakdown, where he cried his heart out about how he wanted to return all his presents so he could get a different color. Once he got himself together, we has free to come out of his room and have fun with us again. Later we had some friend time, shopping time and then birthday dinner: waffles, sausage, grits, pineapple and grapes. We are so proud of our little man. He loves people and can make you feel pretty special. He is my cherry on top! Oh yeah, and in case we weren't sick enough from the sweets, he requested donuts for his birthday cake. Yep,
