We got to spend the day Saturday with my mom (Mamaw) and Wayne (Papaw) at their house. The boys worked hard outside stacking wood and using the powerful tool - the wood splitter! It was good manual labor for them and they even said later that it was the best part of the day. Now that's a big statement when you compare it to what they did the rest of the day, play the Wii. They definitely loved that too and want one so badly for Christmas! Atleast they know they can go to Mamaw's and play!
This was only one stack out of the five or six that they had! A lot of wood!!
And I had to get a shot of this fine, strong man of mine testing his strength out against the logs and axe. He's still got it!
Like father, like son!
Oh, and this is from another day when some friends came over to play! We found the neighborhood turtle. We see him about once a year. He picked a good day to come through our yard, the kids had fun trapping him in different contraptions. In the end, he found a way out!
